Donald R. Glenz, O.D.
Donald Glenz, O.D, a native Texan, graduated from the University of Houston's College of Optometry in 1975. He began his career as Chief of Optometry Services while stationed at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Long Beach, CA. After his military service, he entered private practice in Dallas.
Desiring a greater challenge professionally, Dr. Glenz moved to Houston, and in 1984, he and Dr. Stig Pedersen founded Today's Vision, now one of the state's largest retail optometric operations. Dr. Glenz has the unique distinction of serving two consecutive terms as President of the Texas Association of Optometrists. Former President George W. Bush appointed him to the Texas Optometry Board, the state's regulatory authority and liaison between optometrists and citizens of Texas. |
Dr. Glenz has undertaken specialized training in laser vision correction and has affiliated with a nationwide network of optometrists and ophthalmologists who are performing laser vision correction procedures. He is a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, a group specializing in the exchange of information on the latest technology in laser refractive surgery.
Dr. Glenz is certified as both a therapeutic optometrist and an optometric glaucoma specialist, the two highest levels of certification under Texas law.

Loan Dong, O.D.
After completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry at Houston Baptist University in 1988, Dr. Loan Dong continued her education at the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating in 1992 with a Doctor of Optometry degree.
Dr. Dong gained clinical experience from her externships at Berkeley Eye Center and Fort Sam Houston. She is a Therapeutic Optometrist, specializing in adult and pediatric eye care, treatment, and management of eye diseases, contact lens fitting, and LASIK co-management. After seventeen years of practice, Dr. Dong joined Today's Vision, sharing their priority to provide quality eye care to patients. Dr. Dong emigrated from Vietnam in 1975, and has been a Houstonian most of her life. She enjoys dining and traveling with her husband, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Dong speaks English and Vietnamese fluently. |

Michele L. Hayes is our current General Manager. She has over a decade of experience managing patient care in the Houston and surrounding areas, and is dedicated to ensuring that all of your optometry needs are met. In her mind, patient service is always of prime importance.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughters and traveling. |
